PRACTICAL FIELD NOTES / 18 OCTOBER 2026

About Fieldwork and our source standard

An independent directory of practical AI resources for Australian businesses, with globally useful workflows alongside them.

What we inspect

On 18 October 2026, we retrieved primary skill files, recorded their SHA-256 fingerprints, and pinned their repository revisions. Our discovery pass considered 899 candidate source definitions across ten repositories. The current directory includes 473 workflow listings from 471 distinct files.

Checks cover source availability, the skill’s name and stated purpose, instruction-body structure, supporting-reference paths and geographic or runtime requirements. We maintain exclusion reasons for deprecated, duplicate, out-of-scope and unsuitable candidates.

What the evidence does not establish

Fieldwork has not executed every listed skill, audited its security, certified its professional correctness, or measured time savings. Publisher-reported evaluations remain publisher claims. Source inspection is a starting-point check, not a verified-working badge.

The collection is a dated discovery pass, not an exhaustive list of the changing web. Source files can change after inspection. Compare the pinned source with the publisher’s current version before updating your installation.

Editorial decisions

We organise resources by the work a business is trying to do. Geographic fit distinguishes explicit Australian context, broadly portable workflows and sources needing local adaptation. Platform labels separate documented setup from editorial prompt adaptation. We avoid invented ratings, unsupported performance claims and duplicate copies presented as new skills.

Some source creators are commercial vendors. Their inclusion is not an endorsement of every connected service or a statement of affiliation with Anthropic or OpenAI.

Changes, submissions and corrections

Submit a source or report a correction. Include the public primary source, the affected workflow, and evidence for the change. Submissions enter a review queue; submitting or sponsoring does not automatically publish a listing.
